Las Vegas - HOME COOKIN! That has been the story of this NBA Finals, except for game five, and we expect it will continue in Milwaukee tonight. We've been riding the home cookin' wagon to the bank and don't plan on getting off now. If the Bucks can provide Giannis with the same support he got in game five, it'll be OVER. Khris Middleton flushed 29 points and Jrue Holiday had 27 with 13 assists. And his defense was a MASTER CLASS at the end of the game. The kids from Brew Town KNOW how to defend their home court, and have won nine of 10 in the playoffs. That's 90%, NINETY PERCENT! They've covered seven of 10 (70%), which ain't too shabby. However, since the Suns are gonna be desperate to force a game seven back in Phoenix, not thrilled with laying a five spot, so we'll take the Bucks on the money line.

Gonna head to the mountains and grab the Rockies with German Marquez over the Mariners. The trade deadline is coming up July 30 and Marquez is gonna be a name that a bunch of clubs will be looking to acquire. Why? With the exception of one bad start against the Reds at Cincinnati, German has been BRILLIANT. He has won six of his last eight for a LOUSY Colorado club (41-53). And if you throw out the ugly start, he has allowed only 6 earned runs over 67 innings which works out to an impossibly SKINNY 0.81 ERA! Even if you threw in the ugly start, his ERA would be sitting at 1.75. The only reason we're not pushing all the chips into the center of the table is, Marquez has not pitched in nine days, and might take a while to get his groove on. Still rockin' the Rockies, and you can BOOK IT!!!
