Also on the main card this week is a women’s bantamweight bout between Aspen Ladd and Macy Chiasson. At Bovada, Ladd is a -200 favorite and Chiasson a +160 underdog.
Ladd is 9-1 with six wins by KO, but she hasn’t fought since UFC on ESPN 7 in December 2019 due to a knee injury. In that fight, she defeated Yana Kunitskaya by third-round TKO as a -210 favorite.
Chiasson is 7-1 with two wins by KO and two by submission She last fought at UFC on ESPN 21 in March, besting Marion Reneau by unanimous decision as a -250 favorite.
Phillips chalk to gain fifth consecutive victory
One other notable matchup on the main card this weekend is a bantamweight bout featuring Kyler Phillips and Raulian Paiva. At Bovada, Phillips is a -285 favorite and Paiva a +225 underdog.
Phillips has won his last four fights and owns an overall record of 9-1 with five wins by KO and one by submission. He last fought at UFC 259 in March and defeated Song Yadong by unanimous decision as a +130 underdog.
Paiva is 2-2 in his last four fights and his overall record stands at 20-3 with four wins by KO and three by submission. He last fought at UFC 251 in July 2020, defeating Zhalgas Zhumagulov by unanimous decision as a -170 favorite.
