Las Vegas - It gets REAL in four days with the start of college football. As we mentioned last week, all the touts and scamdicappers are looking to latch on to your credit card. Apparently EVERYONE, except a very few honest sports cappers, are all hitting 70% or higher. Those of us in the biz for the last 40 years understand that is fantasy, Disney Land stuff. If you're confused/irritated by all the Emails in your inbox, the non-stop phone calls and even some snail mail, here's my suggestion. With two options. If they're as good as they say, ask 'em to give you a month FREE. If they win for the month, you pay them, if they lose for the month, they PAY YOU the going rate. Most handicappers would NEVER go for that, so then ask 'em to give you a free month with this caveat. If they win for the month, you pay the man, but if they lose, you just say goodbye. Either way, you get to see how they work, how they pick and if their claims are for real. Also remember that if you are paying for a pick service, you gotta factor in the weekly/monthly cost before you can get a true read on how if affects your bank account. Riding down to Houston and gonna try the Astros with Lance McCullers over the Royals and Mike Minor. McCullers won 10 games in 2018, didn't pitch in 2019, won three in 2020 and has 10 Ws already this season. His 3.21 ERA this season is the best of his six year career. Minor is in the middle of another losing season and this is the fourth year in a row that he has an ERA over 5.00, 5.34 to be exact. Gotta go STRO-lling for the money!
