Las Vegas - Little taste of the UEFA Champions League action in Germany as RB Leipzig hosts Club Brugge. Leipzig was rocked in its first group game at Manchester City, 6-3, and will be looking to grab three points at home against Brugge. The Red Bulls just blasted Hertha Berlin on Saturday, 6-0, in a Bundesliga match, and should be ready to roll over the Belgians. The Blauw-Zwart, Blue Black to you and me, might be sitting on top of the Belgian First Division, but so what. The quality in that league is MILES behind the quality of the Bundesliga. Not crazy about the Red Bull drink, but am nutty for the soccer team this afternoon.

Flying out to L.A. and gonna tickle the Dodgers with Walker Buehler over the Padres. A few problems for San Diego. The Pads are not gonna be in the playoffs, while Los Angeles is still in a dogfight with San Francisco for the N.L. West crown, and, HOME FIELD. The next problem is L.A.'s 6-0 winning streak against the Padres. And the final problem is Buehler. He has NEVER lost to San Diego in his career, 5-0, and should be able to put another W on the stat sheet. And if you're thinking that Yu Darvish is gonna be a problem for L.A., NAH! Yu has managed only one win in 14 starts since the end of June. So YU know we are on Los Dodgers.
