Las Vegas - The GREAT Mighty Quinn, formerly from the New York Daily News, had a bunch of hits on his Twitter feed (@MightyQuinnNYDN) after we hit two winners on Monday. Why? Apparently, they all noticed that we had the Cowboys & Indians as our two wins. Hope I didn't offend anyone, and look forward to parlaying the Cowboys & GUARDIANS next season. THX Mighty!

For all those who like to play trends, here's a quick look at this past week's spread action in the NFL. Wonder why the bookies keep making extraordinary amounts of money? 'Cause they're good, REALLY good! You bet only home
teams, or, only road teams? No matter which way you turned, it was a dead even split, with each side covering eight games. You bet only favorites, or, underdogs? Another very close decision, with dogs covering 8, favs 7 and 1 pick'em game. How about the Over/Under totals? Here we do have a lopsided decision as the Unders hit 11 times, while the Overs came in only five times.

Thinking about the Braves with Max Fried over the Phillies tonight. Fried has been ENORMOUS down the stretch for Atlanta, winning six times, and has not lost a game since July 28. And his last two outings were a bunch of BAGELS, with 16 innings and ZERO earned runs. If the Braves won last night, we're still down on the ATL, but slice the wager in half.
