indy colts 77
Las Vegas - Never thrilled laying double digits in the NFL, but in this spot, we GOTTA ride the Colts all the way to the bank. Indy put up a strong fight last Monday night against the Ravens before coming up on the short end of a 31-25 score in OT. Carson Wentz was actually close to fabulous, hitting on 25 of 35 for 402 yards, with 2 TDs and NO INTs. On the season, Wentz is 113 of 173 (65.3%), with 7 TDs and just 1 INT. And now, he gets the dynamic T.Y. Hilton back. WATCH OUT! When you look at Houston, you'll see the third string QB, Davis Mills, under center, since Tyrod Taylor has a hamstring and Deshaun Watson has...issues. Nothing against Mills, but the Texans have lost four in a row and been outscored 71-21 on the road. Throwin' down with the Horseshoes.
Now on to the Battle of the Teasers. Monsieur Vingt-et-un and the Secret Santa jumped in last week when the Other Silver Brother was sitting at 2-2. V-e-t and Santa both picked up wins, as did the OSB. So now, everyone thinks they're MONEY. Maybe they are.
My Secret Santa guy is so jacked that he is giving me reasons for each pick. He starts off by dropping Cleveland from -3.5 to +6.5 against Arizona. Kingsbury out, Murray's shoulder is cranky and high winds in Cleveland make this a good pick. Then we go to Pittsburgh and bump the Steelers up from -5 to +5 and go against the Seahawks without Russell Wilson. Can't see them winning any games with Gino Smith. Yuck!!! Close it out on Monday night and plump Tennessee up from +6 to +16 points against Buffalo. The Bills are good but the Titans at home on a Monday night to me spells a close game or an outright win! Thx Santa.
Monsieur Vingt-et-un is back with his Sunday action, starting in Chicago, using Green Bay and taking the Packers from -6 to +4 points against the Bears. Then it's off to New York and dropping the Rams from -8 to +2 points over the Giants. My French friend is closing with a total and bumping the Over/Under in the Cowboys/Patriots game from 51 to 61 points and going LOW!
And the Other Silver Brother is gonna grab Kaycee and bump the Chiefs up from -7 to +3 points against Washington. Go to Cleveland and bump Arizona up from +3 to +13 points against the Browns. Finish up with the Rams and take 'em from -7.5 to +2.5 points against the Giants.
Before we knew the final score of last night's NLCS game, we had an if/if for you. If the Dodgers lost last night, and, if Max Scherzer starts, then we would rock L.A. Well, the Dodgers DID lose, and Mad Max WILL start, so we're on Los Dodgers.
