Las Vegas - Are you ready for the BEST two words in sports...GAME SEVEN BAABBBEEE!!! Okay, it's three words, but you get my flow. Why will there be a game seven? Lemme explain. Houston will send Luis Garcia to the mound and he has had a very interesting postseason. He was bombed by the White Sox (2.2 innings, 5 hits, 5 earned runs), smoked by the Red Sox (1 inning, 2 hits, 5 earned runs), but then came back five days later and threw a gem at Boston (5 innings, 1 hit, zero earned runs). In his only start against the Braves, in Atlanta, he was solid (3.2 innings, 3 hits, 1 earned run), but still took the loss. Looked back at his work in the regular season, and the only other time he faced a team back-to-back was the Royals. The first start was okay, not great (5 innings, 4 hits, 3 earned runs). However, the next start, at Houston, was DELICIOUS (6 innings, 4 hits, 0 earned runs). Now we look at Max Fried, and the talented lefty has been struggling. After two solid starts to begin the playoffs (12 innings, 11 hits, 2 earned runs), he has fallen into a deep dark hole. His last two starts have been, you know the word, UGLIFIED, or, if you like, UgliFRIED (9 innings, 15 hits, 11 earned runs). Not a gigantic fan of the 'Stros, but coming back from an early 4-0 hole in game five was very impressive. They've won five of seven playoff games in Houston so far, and have the sticks to force a game seven. Gimme the Astros for the money.
