College Football Bowls Betting Odds Preview

The holiday delivers a busy week of bowl games with college football featured daily for the rest of the year.

This week’s preview starts with the Gasparilla Bowl on Thursday night featuring the Central Florida Knights and the Florida Gators. At Bovada Sportsbook, the Gators are 6.5-point favorites.

Florida was a disappointing 6-6 straight up and 3-9 against the spread this season. That includes losing its last six games ATS. On the road, the Gators have dropped five straight ATS, and when favored they’re 2-10 ATS in their last 12.

Central Florida was 8-4 SU and 4-8 ATS this season. The Knights are a lackluster 2-7 ATS in their last nine road games, and as an underdog they’ve lost five straight at 1-4 ATS.

In two previous matchups all-time between the Gators and Knights, the Gators are 2-0 SU and 1-1 ATS.

Tigers favored over Rainbow Warriors in Hawaii Bowl

On Christmas Eve, the lone bowl game on the schedule is the Hawaii Bowl featuring the Memphis Tigers and the Hawaii Rainbow Warriors. At Bovada, the Tigers are 8.5-point favorites.

Memphis was 6-6 SU and 4-8 ATS this season. In their last five games, the Tigers are 1-4 ATS, and on the road they’ve lost nine in a row ATS. Memphis has a lousy bowl record with a 1-5 SU and ATS record in the last six.

Hawaii was 6-7 SU and 5-7-1 ATS this season. As an underdog, the Warriors have won their last two games SU and they’re 4-4-1 ATS in their last nine. In nine previous appearances in the Hawaii Bowl, the Warriors are 5-4 SU.

Panthers, Cardinals square off on Christmas Day

On Christmas Day, the only bowl game for you to wager on is the Camellia Bowl featuring the Georgia State Panthers and the Ball State Cardinals. At Bovada, the Panthers are 6-point favorites.

Georgia State was 7-5 SU and 8-4 ATS this season. The Panthers finished strong by going 6-1 SU and ATS in their last seven games. On the road, they have won five straight ATS and they’re 8-1 ATS in their last nine. In their last four bowl games, the Panthers are 2-2 SU and ATS.

Ball State was 6-6 SU and 4-8 ATS this season. The Cardinals are 1-4 ATS in their last five games and have posted five straight UNDERs for totals bettors. As an underdog, the Cardinals are 2-4 SU and ATS in their last six. In their last six bowl games, the Cardinals are 1-5 SU and ATS.

Georgia State and Ball State last met up in 2016 when the Cardinals defeated the Panthers 31-21 as 4.5-point underdogs. The underdog has won the last two matchups between the Cardinals and Panthers.
