Las Vegas - Cowboys & Potatoes. Gotta LOVE these wacky early bowl games. Wyoming (-3) takes on Kent State up in Boise in the Famous Idaho Potato Bowl. Liking the Cowboys here for a few reasons. Wyoming lives in the Mountain West Conference and they have been PERFECT so far, with a 2-0 record in the early bowls (Fresno State over Utep and Utah State over Oregon State). Kent lives in the MAC, and they have been UGLY, losing all three of their bowl games (Toledo lost to Middle Tennessee State, Northern Illinois lost to Coastal Carolina, and Eastern Michigan was crushed by Liberty). The Cowboys were kinda up and down this season, but had a ginormous 44-17 win over Utah State before losing to Hawaii. The problem with the Golden Flashes is, defense, or LACK OF! They have been blitzed for 189 in their last five games, or almost 38 points per, so it's Cowboy UP!!!

On the NFL board, once again, SOOOOO MANY question marks. Makes it almost impossible to make a play. So, we're not gonna make a play.

However, we will lace up the skates, slide down to Pittsburgh and take the Penguins over the Devils. The Pens come roaring into the game tonight with an 8-0 PERFECTO, and just beat the Devils up in New Jersey, 3-2. Jersey has only one win in the last 12 games, so we're ALL OVER Pitt. Oops, just found out that the game has been PPD. Sorry.
