Skating on to the New Jersey ice and looking at tonight's Devils/Canucks matchup. Not interested in picking either side, but VERY interested in the Over/Under total. It's listed at six goals, and we're gonna jump all over the OVER! Looked at New Jersey's last six and have seen video game type scores. Starting with a 7-1 win against the Canadiens, then moving on to a 7-4 W against the Blues, a 4-2 loss to the Penguins, a 6-3 L against the Lightning, a 6-1 revenge win against the Penguins and then an 8-5 loss at the Blackhawks. So, the calculator tells me that they have been involved in games with 54 total goals the last six times out, and doing a little long division, that works out to NINE goals per game. Vancouver hasn't exactly been a lockdown defensive club either. The Canucks have gone OVER in seven of the last eight games, and their goals per game averaged EIGHT since February 9th. Gimme a 5-4 final, DON'T care who wins, and I'll be smiling all the way to the bank!
