NBA Betting: Heat Have Lost 4 In Row At Bucks

A battle of Eastern Conference heavyweights highlights the Wednesday night NBA schedule as the conference-leading Miami Heat visit the Milwaukee Bucks.

The Heat have won four in a row while going 2-1-1 against the spread following a 112-99 win over the Chicago Bulls as 4.5-point favorites at Bovada Sportsbook on Monday. Miami is 9-1 straight up and 6-3-1 ATS in its last 10, and has won six straight on the road at 5-0-1 ATS.

Milwaukee is slumping a bit right now with a 2-4 SU record and 1-5 ATS mark in its last six games. Last time out on Monday, the Bucks defeated the Charlotte Hornets 130-106 as a 10.5-point favorite. In that game, the final score fell UNDER the posted total, which snapped an eight-game OVER streak for the Bucks. At home, the Bucks are 2-3 SU and 1-4 ATS in their last five and 5-10 ATS in their last 15.

The Heat and Bucks have faced off three times this season with Miami taking two of three both SU and ATS. They last met up on December 8 when Miami defeated Milwaukee 113-104 as a 6.5-point home underdog. In their last four home games against the Heat, the Bucks are 4-0 SU and 3-1 ATS.

Knicks, 76ers have been trending OVER

Also in the Eastern Conference on Wednesday night is a potential blowout when the Philadelphia 76ers host the New York Knicks. The 76ers and Knicks clashed on Sunday and Philadelphia cruised to a 125-109 win as 7.5-point road favorites.

That was Philadelphia’s third straight win SU and ATS. In their last six games, the Sixers are 5-1 SU and 4-2 ATS. For totals bettors, they’ve posted four straight OVERs and a 6-2 OVER record in their last eight games.

The Knicks have dropped five straight both SU and ATS and are 1-9 SU and ATS in their last 10 games. They’ve also been a solid OVER pick for totals bettors with four straight OVERs and a 6-1 OVER record in their last seven games. New York has also been terrible on the road with a 1-7 SU and 2-6 ATS record in its last eight.

Prior to Sunday’s defeat, the Knicks had won their last two games against the 76ers. However, in the last 18 matchups, the 76ers are 16-2 SU and 9-8-1 ATS, and in Philadelphia the 76ers are 9-1 SU and 7-3 ATS in their last 10 vs New York.

Suns have lost 4 straight ATS at home

In the Western Conference on Wednesday, the conference-leading Phoenix Suns play host to the Portland Trail Blazers.

Phoenix has lost two straight both SU and ATS and is 1-4 ATS in the last five games. At home, the Suns have been a tough bet lately with four straight losses ATS and a 4-8 ATS record in their last 12.

Portland has lost its last two games SU and ATS but is 4-2 SU and ATS in the last six. As an underdog, which the Trail Blazers will surely be Wednesday night, Portland is 4-2 SU and ATS in the last six, and 4-8 SU and 5-7 ATS in the last 12.

Phoenix is 2-1 SU and ATS against Portland this season, and 5-1 SU and 4-2 ATS in their last six matchups.
