RBC Heritage Betting Odds Preview
The PGA Tour heads to Hilton Head, South Carolina, this week for the RBC Heritage at Harbour Town Golf Links.
With Masters champion Scottie Scheffler taking a pass on the RBC Heritage this week, there are three co-favorites at Bovada Sportsbook. Topping the odds list are Cameron Smith, Collin Morikawa and Justin Thomas, all at +1400.
Smith, Morikawa, Thomas top RBC Heritage oddsboard
Smith, who tied for third in the Masters last week, is the top finisher from Augusta in the field this weekend along with Shane Lowry, who also finished in third place. That was Smith’s third top-three finish of the year following wins in the Players Championship and the Sentry Tournament of Champions. If you’re wondering about Lowry, he’s listed at +2200 this week at Bovada.
Morikawa is now ranked second in the world golf rankings after finishing fifth at the Masters last week. In nine tournaments this season, he has finished in the top five six times, including a pair of runner-up finishes, but he’s still looking for his first win.
After a rough start at Augusta last week, Thomas clawed his way back to finish tied for eighth. That was his fourth top-10 finish in his last five tournaments, and seventh of the season. Thomas is still looking for his first win on the tour this season.
Defending champ Cink big underdog to win fourth title
The defending champion of the RBC Heritage is Stewart Cink. He also won this event in 2000 and 2004. Last year, Cink shot 19 under par to finish four strokes ahead of Emiliano Grillo and Harold Varner. If you think Cink can add a fourth RBC Heritage title to his resume this week, you can get him as a +12500 underdog at Bovada. You can also get Grillo at +20000 and Varner at +5000.
Along with Cink, there are several other former winners of the RBC Heritage in the field this week: 2020 winner Webb Simpson (+3300), 2019 winner CT Pan (+15000), 2018 winner Satoshi Kodaira (+30000), 2017 winner Wesley Bryan (+25000), 2016 winner Branden Grace (+20000), 2015 winner Jim Furyk (+40000) and 2014 winner Matt Kuchar (+6600).
The odds on a few other notables this week include Dustin Johnson and Patrick Cantlay at +2000, Joaquin Niemann at +2800 and Jordan Spieth at +3300.
