UFC Betting: Font vs Vera Odds Preview

A pair of bantamweight contenders are meeting up in the Octagon this weekend at UFC Fight Night: Font vs Vera.

The main event this weekend is the bantamweight bout featuring Rob Font and Marlon Vera. At Bovada Sportsbook, Font is a -130 favorite and Vera a +110 underdog.

Font has won four of his last five fights to improve his record to 19-5 with eight wins by knockout and four by submission. But he lost to Jose Aldo by unanimous decision as a -150 favorite in his last fight at UFC on ESPN 31 in December.

Vera is 3-1 in his last four fights and owns an overall record of 18-7-1 with seven wins by KO and eight by submission. He last fought at UFC 268 in November, defeating Frankie Edgar by third-round KO as a -180 favorite.

Veteran Arlovski seeks fourth straight win

Also on the main card this weekend is a heavyweight bout between Andrei Arlovski and Jake Collier. At Bovada, Arlovski is a -150 favorite and Collier a +125 underdog.

Arlovski has won his last three fights and his overall record stands at 33-20 and two no contests, with 17 wins by KO and three by submission. He last fought at UFC 271 in February and bested Jared Vanderaa by split decision as a -185 favorite.

Collier is 5-5 in his last 10 fights and hasn’t won back-to-back fights since 2014. His overall record is 13-6 with five wins by KO and four by submission. He last fought at UFC on ESPN 32 in January, submitting Chase Sherman in the first round as a +110 underdog.

Fili favored over Brito in featherweight tilt

One other notable matchup on the main card this weekend is a featherweight bout between Andre Fili and Joanderson Brito. At Bovada, Fili is a -240 favorite and Brito a +190 underdog.

Fili is 21-8 and one no contest, with nine wins by KO and three by submission. He last fought at UFC Fight Night 190 in June against Daniel Pineda and the fight was declared a no contest after Pineda suffered an accidental eye poke and was unable to continue. Fili was a -225 favorite in the bout.

Brito had a 10-fight winning streak snapped in his last fight, which dropped his record to 12-3-1 with five wins by KO and five by submission. That loss to Bill Algeo by unanimous decision as a -170 favorite came in Brito’s UFC debut at UFC on ESPN 32 in January.
