Las Vegas - Another crack at afternoon baseball and we're on the Brewers over the Reds. Feel bad for Cincy and the 3-21 record, but Milwaukee ain't gonna show any sympathy. Neither is Adrian Houser who has won his last two starts and allowed just four earned runs over the last 18 innings. On the other side of the field, Hunter Greene has been rocked, actually, CRUSHED, giving up 15 hits and 9 earned runs in the last 12 innings. Gotta grab a Brew and the Crew, but since they DESTROYED Cincy 18-4 last night, we'll keep the wager on the light side.

Sure winning the Presidents' Trophy is top shelf but more often than not, it's the KISS OF DEATH! Scroll back to the 1985-86 season when the award was created, and only seven teams have won the Prez AND the Stanley Cup in the same season. That's SEVEN in like THIRTY SEVEN YEARS! Ouch! And three of the last four Presidents' Trophy winners have been eliminated in the first round of the playoffs. So, why are we picking the Panthers? Cause they're REALLY good. They won 13 in a row to basically clinch the Presidents', then went on vacay, losing four of five. The good news is, Florida should be over the opening game nerves and rock the Capitals tonight to even the series.
