Las Vegas - Trends are juicy and alluring, but we don't always follow them blindly. However, on the NHL ice, there's a trend that deserves your undivided attention. The Lighting were skating to what seemed like an easy victory in game five against Toronto, with a 2-0 lead after the first period. The Leafs came back to squeeze out a 4-3 win, and that's where this trend kicks in. When Tampa Bay goes back home after a loss, the only word to throw out is PERFECTION. Since 2020, the Lightning are 16-0 playing at home after a playoff loss. SIXTEEN & OH!!! Kinda hard to ignore that stat, so we'll sprinkle a few chips on Tampa.
