kale and cale
Las Vegas - Skating back on to the Mile High ice in Denver tonight and gonna slide with the Avalanche. Colorado managed to squeeze out a 4-3 OT win in game one, but looked a little nervous. They also looked a little tiny bit off their game after a NINE day rest. Expecting more, much more from the Avs tonight, especially, Cale Makar. If you're wondering why we, and almost everyone else thinks that Makar is the NEXT ONE, just look at these numbers. The GREAT Bobby Orr enjoyed an impressive three year to start his career, grabbing 13 goals and 28 assists for 41 points in his rookie season, then 11 goals and 20 assists for 31 points and 21 goals and 43 assists for 64 points. Cale's first three seasons have been ever BETTER! He rolled for 12 goals and 38 assists for 50 points in his rookie campaign,
8 goals and 36 assists for 44 points in year two, and this season, it was 28 goals and 58 assists for an enormous total of 86 points. Makar has to go a little harder to catch Orr's PHENOMENAL 1970-71 season when he had the most points EVER for a D-man, 139 points. Gonna eat a little cale tonight and watch Cale lead the Avalanche to a 2-0 bulge in the series.
