Las Vegas - Heard that they were still playing baseball. Something called the World Series. We know that the big bad Astros are perfect at 7-0, and the Phillies squeezed into the playoffs with the last Wild Card. We know that Justin Verlander will stroll into the Hall of Fame five years after hanging up his cleats. But lets take a closer look at the 7-0. Houston beat a decent Seattle team three times and a Yankee team with a TON of holes four times. Neither of those teams had the lefty firepower to combat the Astros heavy right-handed staff. Philly DOES! Bryce Harper and Kyle Schwarber can BOMB! Bryce played only 99 games but had 18 HRs and 65 RBI, while Kyle played 155 and had 46 bombs and 94 RBI. Speaking of bombs, we are gonna take a small taste of the prop wager, first player to hit a home run, and drop a few chips on J.T. Realmuto at a very generous 12/1. As always, we'll stay very small in the opener so we can take the temperature of the series, so it's just a tiny tickle on the Liberty Bell!
