Las Vegas - Anyone care to choose between a Baker, a Walker or a Darnold? That's what is on tap tonight as the Panthers host the Falcons. Carolina is a delicious MESS. They gave up THIRTY FIVE points to the Bengals last week, in the FIRST HALF, then fired two defensive coaches (Paul Pasqualoni and Evan Cooper). Oh yea, the head coach, Matt Ruhle was fired just a few weeks ago. So, Baker Mayfield replaced P.J. Walker last week and he guided the Panthers to three TDs. Of course this was basically garbage time since Cincy was up a ton at that point (42-7). Back to P.J. for a second. He was pathetic/ugly/embarrassing, 3 of 10 in the 1st half for NINE yards, with two INTs and a 0.00 QB rating. That's ZERO POINT ZERO ZERO! Interim head coach Steve Wilks said he is gonna stay with Walker. Okay Steve! The Falcons beat Carolina just two weeks ago, 37-34 in OT, and Marcus Mariota (20/28 for 253 yards and 3 TDs) had one of his best games of the season. The Falcs just got RB Cordarrelle Patterson back and after watching the way Joe Mixon TORCHED the Panthers for FIVE TDs and 153 yards last week, Cordarrelle is gonna be ready to rock. Not sure about laying points on the road, so we'll have to get creative. If P.J. STINKS out the joint again, and the Falcons are up big late in the game, check out the in-play spread. If the Baker comes in, we'll throw a few chips at Carolina. But only if it's the Baker. If they go to Sam Darnold, wallet is CLOSED!
