ice ice baby
Las Vegas - Taking a night off to let my wallet cool down after hitting the Monday night middle and gonna give you a little taste of what to do in MY VEGAS! And it's ICE ICE BABY!
Our temps in Vegas are still in the 50s and 60s, but we do have ICE! So bring your skates if you're coming to town, and you'll be able to slide on the Cosmopolitan Hotel's ice. They transform the Boulevard Pool area into a winter wonderland for the holiday season, complete with an ice rink and gently falling snow throughout the evenings. You can glide around the rink to the sounds of Christmas music while enjoying the views of the Strip from the rooftop location. After your skate, have a seat in one of the Adirondack chairs surrounding the fire pits. Wanna toast marshmallows and make s'mores. Bring it. Of course, while the little munchkins are flopping around on the ice, Mom & Dad can sip on a cocktail. If you study the website, check out the dates for the various themed nights. Lemme suggest 'Monday's Date Skate,' where you can enjoy a night out skating while watching a movie play on the hotel's 65-foot digital marquee. Or if you want old school, it's 'Throwback Thursdays' where you'll glide around to the music from the '70s, '80s and '90s. And if you're looking for a place to usher in 2023, the Cosmo has a New Years Eve special that will not drain your bank account. You can buy in for $200 bucks which includes a three-hour open bar, VIP and reserved fire pit seating and a midnight champagne toast. We've been on this sheet of ice a few times and can tell you that it's one of the PRIMO views in all of Vegas. If you can't find a babysitter for New Years and wanna bring your kids, it's a $100 per tot. And if you come, you might see me whizzing by on my brand new Bauer Whistler Lifestyle Ice Skates for seniors. VERY happy with my new Whistlers for $119.99, with FREE shipping and FREE returns, just in case. ICE, ICE, BABY!
