NFL Week 18 Betting Odds Preview

The NFL regular season concludes this week with several playoff spots and playoff positioning to be decided. One game that matters to both is an AFC East clash between the New England Patriots and Buffalo Bills.

At Bovada Sportsbook, the Bills are 7.5-point home favorites. Buffalo did not have a result last week after its game against the Cincinnati Bengals was suspended. The Bills head into Week 18 on a six-game winning streak with a 3-3 record against the spread. In their last nine, the Bills are 3-6 ATS. At home, they are 10-1 straight up and 6-4-1 ATS in their last 11.

The Patriots edged the Miami Dolphins 23-21 as a 3-point favorite last week to keep their playoff hopes alive. Despite last week’s win, the Patriots have lost three straight ATS, and they’re 1-5 ATS in their last six. As an underdog, they’re 1-9 SU and 2-8 ATS in their last 10.

In Week 13, Buffalo defeated New England 24-10 as a 4-point road favorite. In this matchup, the Bills have won the last three games SU and ATS, and they’re 5-1 SU and 4-2 ATS in their last six.

Dolphins, Jets both mired in 5-game losing skids

Sticking in the AFC East, the Miami Dolphins need a win and some help to make the postseason when they face the New York Jets as 1-point home favorites.

The Dolphins have lost five straight with a 2-3 ATS record following last week’s 23-21 loss to the Patriots as 3-point underdogs. At home, Miami is 11-2 SU and 9-4 ATS in its last 13 games.

The Jets have also lost five straight at 1-4 ATS after last week’s 23-6 loss to the Seattle Seahawks as 1.5-point favorites. New York has been a strong UNDER play lately with four straight UNDERs and a 9-2 UNDER record in their last 11.

In Week 5, the Jets defeated the Dolphins 40-17 as 3-point underdogs. In their last nine vs the Jets, the Dolphins are 7-2 ATS, and they’ve won six straight against New York at home.

Cincinnati has covered in 12 of last 13 games

In the AFC North, bettors could get an early playoff preview when the Cincinnati Bengals host the Baltimore Ravens as 6-point favorites.

Cincinnati had its game against Buffalo postponed last week and heads in Week 18 on a seven-game winning streak both SU and ATS. In their last 13 games, the Bengals are a near-perfect 12-1 ATS. At home, they’ve won five straight both SU and ATS, and they’re 9-1 ATS in their last 10.

The Ravens are coming off a 16-13 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers as 1-point favorites. The Ravens are 4-3 SU and 2-5 ATS in their last seven games and as an underdog they’re 2-6 SU and 5-2-1 ATS in their last eight.

In Week 5, the Ravens defeated the Bengals 19-17 as 3-point favorites. In this matchup, the Ravens are 6-2 SU and 3-5 ATS in their last eight games, which includes losing three straight ATS.
