Makhachev has won his last 11 fights and hasn’t taken a loss since 2015. His record stands at 23-1 with four wins by knockout and 11 by submission. His most recent win came at UFC 280 in October when he submitted Charles Oliveira in the second round as a -245 favorite to win the light heavyweight title.
Volkanovski, the UFC featherweight champion, has won 22 straight fights and hasn’t lost since 2013. His overall record is 25-1 with 12 wins by KO and three by submission. He last fought at UFC 276 in July, earning a unanimous-decision victory over Max Holloway as a -205 favorite.
Rodriguez favored over Emmett for interim title
Also on the main card this weekend is a fight for the interim UFC featherweight title between Yair Rodriguez and Josh Emmett. At Bovada, Rodriguez is a -185 favorite and Emmett a +150 underdog.
Rodriguez has won three of his last five fights and owns an overall record of 14-3 and one no contest, with five wins by KO and three by submission. He defeated Brian Ortega by first-round TKO as a +135 underdog in his last fight at UFC on ABC 3 in July.

Another notable fight on the main card this weekend is a welterweight bout featuring Jack Della Maddalena and Randy Brown. At Bovada, Maddalena is a -325 favorite and Brown a +250 underdog.
Della Maddalena has won 13 consecutive fights and his record is 13-2 with 11 wins by KO. He last fought in November at UFC Fight Night 215 where he defeated Danny Roberts by first-round TKO as a -1400 favorite.
