super and panda day
Las Vegas - Gotta have a pick on the Super Bowl. It's a LAW! However, the law also states that you DON'T have to empty your wallet. So, Im on the Eagles -1.5, or -1 point or pick'em if you shop at the Westgate Sportsbook. Not really thrilled about the side, too many what-ifs on both teams. The reason for my lean to Philly is a statistic that I can NOT get outta my head. The Eagles led the NFL with 70 sacks this season. Lemme scream: SEVENTY SACKS! The next closest was Kaycee at 55. Just a tickle on the Igles to cover.
Now we turn to our bowl of props, which are the main course for us, and, the majority of my cash splash. If you were not sitting at the Ecks & Bacon table this week, and missed our offerings, here you go.
We started off with the Eagles RB Kenneth Gainwell OVER 1.5 receptions. Why? The Chiefs defense has allowed the MOST receptions and second-most targets to running backs.
Next up we have two props from Jeffrey Benson and his creative team at the Circa Sportsbook. The prop is for each back up quarterback getting at least one snap in the game. It's a yes/no prop. Philly's Gardner Minshew and Kaycee's Chad Henne both have the same numbers. The no for each is -$900 and the yes for each is +$640. Not suggesting that you empty your wallet, but a little tickle on the yes for both QBs deserves your attention. Why? As everyone knows, Patrick Mahomes is dealing with an ankle and Jalen Hurts has shoulder issues. Not saying it's gonna happen, but at those numbers, maybe a taste.
Taking a look at Philly's DeVonta Smith to go OVER 61.5 receiving yards. Kaycee gave up 270 passing yards to the Bengals, who had an offensive line that was missing THREE starters. The Eagles offensive line is considered one of the best, if not THE BEST in the NFL. Of course, we like the Chiefs defensive line, but they AIN'T better than the 49ers. And the Green Birds allowed just one sack and two quarterback hits on TWENTY SIX drop-backs. Also found a delicious DeVonta prop over at Draft Kings, and it's his receiving yards in the 1st quarter. The Over/Under is listed at 14.5 yards, and that's ONE throw OVER the middle!
Of course we have another delicious prop for you and it's an Over/Under on how many 4th down conversions there will be in the game. The O/U is listed at 1.5 and we're gonna go Over. Why? Both teams are among the league leaders in 4th down conversion percentage, with Kaycee checking in at 76.92%, while Philly is not far behind at 71.42%. Both coaches like to spin the dice. Nick Sirianni (35 times) did it more than Andy Reid this season (12 times), but this is the Super Bowl, and it's time to GAMBLE!
Gotta take a little taste of the 1st TD scored, and grabbing Philly's DeVonta Smith at 10/1 and Kaycee's JuJu Smith-Schuster at 12/1. And our longest shot is a few pennies on Miles Sanders to win the MVP at 30/1.
Close up shop with a wager on a first quarter field goal between 1-22 yards at 8/1 odds. Thinking that one of the teams is gonna be stopped in the red zone, and a chip shot FG is gonna cash, for a BUNDLE!
Enjoy, bet smart, stay safe & profitable!
