The UFC returns to Las Vegas this weekend with a change in the main event at UFC Fight Night: Andrade vs Blanchfield.
The main event this weekend is a women’s flyweight bout featuring Jessica Andrade and Erin Blanchfield. Blanchfield was originally scheduled to face Taila Santos, but Santos withdrew for personal reasons last week. At Bovada Sportsbook, Andrade is a -140 favorite and Blanchfield a +115 underdog.
Andrade has won her last three fights and owns an overall record of 24-9 with nine wins by knockout and eight by submission. She last fought at UFC 283 in January when she defeated Lauren Murphy by unanimous decision as a -660 favorite.
Blanchfield has won seven straight fights to improve her record to 10-1 with two wins by KO and three by submission. She submitted Molly McCann in the first round as a -450 favorite in her last fight at UFC 281 in November.
Light heavyweights Wright, Pauga both coming off losses
Also on the main card this weekend is a light heavyweight bout between Jordan Wright and Zac Pauga. At Bovada, Pauga is a -275 favorite and Wright a +225 underdog.
Pauga is coming off his first professional loss and owns an overall record of 5-1 with one win by KO. That loss came in August at UFC on ESPN 40 where he was knocked out in the second round by Mohammed Usman as a -300 favorite.
Wright is on a three-fight losing streak, which has dropped his record to 12-4 and one no contest, with seven wins by KO and five by submission. His most recent loss was to Dusko Todorovic by second-round TKO as a +170 underdog at UFC Fight Night 212 in October.
Pogues a solid favorite in first UFC fight against Parisian
Another notable bout on the main card this weekend is a heavyweight battle featuring Josh Parisian and Jamal Pogues. At Bovada, Pogues is a -250 favorite and Parisian a +205 underdog.
Pogues is making his UFC debut with a 9-3 record, including four wins by KO and one by submission. He last fought at a Dana White’s Contender Series event in August, defeating Paulo Renato by unanimous decision as a -415 favorite.
Parisian is 2-2 in his last four fights and owns an overall record of 15-5 with 11 wins by KO and two by submission. He earned a victory over Alan Baudot by second-round TKO as a -135 favorite in his last fight at UFC on ESPN 38 in June.
