The UFC middleweight title will be on the line in Miami, Florida, this weekend at UFC 287: Pereira vs Adesanya 2.
The main event this weekend is the UFC middleweight title bout rematch featuring champion Alex Pereira and former champion Israel Adesanya. At Bovada Sportsbook, Adesanya is a -140 favorite and Pereira a +115 underdog.
Pereira has won his last seven fights to improve his record to 7-1 with six wins by knockout. Adesanya is coming off the first defeat of his career at the middleweight level, which dropped his record to 23-2 with 15 wins by KO.
Pereira and Adesanya met up at UFC 281 in November, which was the last bout for both fighters. In that clash, Pereira defeated Adesanya by fifth-round TKO as a +460 underdog to claim the middleweight title. Adesanya was a -715 favorite in the loss.

Burns favored to extend Masvidal’s slump
Also on the main card this weekend is a welterweight bout between Gilbert Burns and Jorge Masvidal. At Bovada, Burns is a -500 favorite and Masvidal a +350 underdog.
Burns is 2-2 in his last four fights and his overall record stands at 21-5 with six wins by KO and nine by submission. He submitted Neil Magny in the first round as a -600 favorite in his last fight at UFC 283 in January.
Masvidal has lost his last four fights to drop his record to 35-16 with 16 wins by KO and two by submission. His most recent setback came at UFC 272 in March 2022 when he lost to Colby Covington by unanimous decision as a +240 underdog.
Yanez aiming for 10th consecutive victory
One other notable bout on the main card this weekend is a bantamweight battle featuring Rob Font and Adrian Yanez. At Bovada, Yanez is a -185 favorite and Font a +150 underdog.
Yanez has won nine straight fights to boost his record to 16-3 with 10 wins by KO and two by submission. He extended his streak in June at UFC on ESPN 37 where he defeated Tony Kelley by first-round TKO as a -2000 favorite.
Font has lost his last two fights and owns an overall record of 19-6 with eight wins by KO and four by submission. He last fought at UFC on ESPN 33 in April 2022, losing to Marlon Vera by unanimous decision as a -135 favorite.
