Las Vegas - Texas spent HALF A BILLION on a two players (Corey Seager and Marcus Semien) and when last season was a bust, they added Jacob deGrom, Nathan Eovaldi and Andrew Heaney for a little over $240 million. The money is finally starting to pay dividends. The Rangers are sitting on top of the A.L. West with a 17-11 record and have a solid 11-5 mark at home in Arlington. And their run differential is a staggering +72, second only to the Tampa Bay Rays (+103). Like what Heaney is doing after getting bombed in his opening start. He has won two of his last three and allowed 5 earned runs over the last 22 innings for a delicious 2.04 ERA. Gimme those Rangers for the money.
