Las Vegas - Before they move to Vegas, gotta take a look at the A's and bet the other way. Seattle is off to a slow start (13-16 not including last night), but this Oakland team will get anyone healthy. Like the rest of the Mariners, George Kirby got off on the wrong foot as well. But after an ugly outing to open the season, Kirby has been very stingy. He has allowed 6 earned runs over the last 26 innings for a 2.08 ERA. The A's will send Drew Rucinski to the bump, and if you're not familiar, lemme explain. Rucinski came up with the Angels back in 2014/2015, missed 2016, went to the Twins in 2017, then the Marlins in 2018. Then he went to South Korea and signed with the NC Dinos of the KBO League. He might be okay in the KBO, but in his first start back in MLB since 2019, he gave up 3 runs and 11 hits in just 5.2 innings. Ouch. That's why we're dropping some cash on the visitors from Seattle.
