NBA Wednesday Odds: Crucial Game 5s
The New York Knicks and the Golden State Warriors both face elimination on Wednesday night and must win Game 5 of their second-round series to stay alive in the playoffs.
The Knicks host the Miami Heat in Game 5 of their series as a 3.5-point favorite at the Bovada Sportsbook.
The Heat took a 3-1 series lead on Monday after winning Game 4 by a score of 109-101 as 4.5-point home favorites.
That was Miami’s seventh straight win against the spread and during that streak they’re 6-1 straight up. On the road the Heat are 5-3 SU and ATS in their last eight games, and they’ve been an easy OVER play for totals bettors with a 7-1 OVER record.
The Knicks head into Wednesday night having lost four straight ATS. At home the Knicks are 2-4 ATS in their last six. In their last nine games as the favorite they’re 7-2 SU and 5-4 ATS.

Warriors favorites in Game 5 against Lakers
Over in the Western Conference on Wednesday night the Warriors are down 3-1 to the Los Angeles Lakers and host Game 5 as 6.5-point favorites.
The Lakers took Game 4 by a score of 104-101 as 2.5-point home favorites. With that win they improved to 10-3 SU and 8-5 ATS in their last 13 games. As an underdog the Lakers are 6-2 SU and ATS in their last eight games. However, as an underdog in the playoffs they’re 2-13 SU and 3-12 ATS in their last 15.
The Warriors are 6-2 SU and 4-4 ATS in their last eight home games, and 15-3 SU and 13-5 ATS in their last 18. In the playoffs the Warriors have lost two of their last three at home, but they’re 14-3 SU in their last 17.
The Lakers are 6-2 SU and ATS versus the Warriors this season. The latest series odds list the Lakers as -550 favorites and the Warriors as +400 underdogs.
