Las Vegas - Looks like the Twins are gonna cruise to the A.L. Central crown and one of the main reasons is the right arm of Pablo Lopez. If you look at his numbers from the start of the season, 9-6 record with a 3.51 ERA, you might be thinking, okay, a little above average. But of course, we got out the pitcher's bible, and dug a little deeper. We have been riding Lopez since the start of August, and the results have been as good as, or better, than any arm in baseball. Pablo has started four games, won 'em all, and allowed only one stinkin' earned run over the last 25 innings. That's a 0.36 ERA. Doesn't get much better right? Actually, it DOES. His last three starts have been 19 innings worth of BAGELS. Didn't even need the calculator to figure out the ERA. How about ZERO POINT ZERO ZERO! Gimme the Twinkies for the money.

For your wagering pleasure, here is your spread stat of the day. Looking at the college football board and throwing some stats out on the USC vs. San Jose State game. The Trojans started to figure out the high octane offense of Lincoln Riley in the middle of October, and averaged 45 points per over the last eight games. Naturally, they closed the year on an 8-0 run to the OVER. And if you're wondering about San Jose, the Spartans closed out the season on an UGLY 0-7 spread run.
