irish over bucks
------------------------------------------------------------------
Las Vegas - Ohio State (#6) travels to Notre Dame (#9) as a tiny 3 point favorite. Is that because of how easily State handled the Irish last season? Maybe. The Buckeyes posted a 21-10 win IN Columbus but it AIN'T gonna be that easy this time in South Bend. Why? Notre Dame finally has a quarterback. Last year, Tyler Buchner was the QB for the Irish and he was MEH! And you saw what he did last week for Alabama against South Florida, 5 of 14 for 34 yards, which is why he is BACK ON THE BENCH! There's a new sheriff in town and his name is Sam Hartman. Some are calling him Sam Heisman, but that's a little premature. However, Hartman has been GORGEOUS so far, completing 64 of 90 (71%), with 13 TDS and ZERO INTs. If you're not familiar with Sam, he was the #1 QB at Wake Forest for a few years, and threw for 77 TDs the last two seasons. Yea, SEVENTY SEVEN! Also, the Buckeyes had the right arm of C.J. Stroud last year, and while Kyle McCord has started hot, he is not yet in Stroud's class. Back to last year when the Irish were held to 76 yards on the ground. Chris Tyree (28 yards), Audric Estime (21 yards) and Buchner (18 yards) were the top three RBs. Now, Estime is a junior and he has gobbled up 521 yards in just four games. With 77,622 nut jobs, give or take, and a few leprechauns running around, the luck & talent of the Irish should be enough for a mini upset.

For your wagering pleasure, here are your spread stats of the day. Not only are they smart, VERY smart, Duke has been one of the top money makers the last year and change. The Blue Devils roll into Connecticut with a 6-0 spread PERFECTO and have covered 11 of the last 14 overall. And if you're into totals, UConn has gone UNDER in eight of the last 10 games with one push.
