motown 9/28
------------------------------------------------------------------
Las Vegas - Hearing the music in my head and that's why the play tonight is in Motown. Detroit is not gonna dance in the playoffs this season, but they have some kids that are rocking & rolling. And the left arm of Tarik Skubal is HIGH on that list. Skubal was under water for his first three seasons with the Tigers, posting a 1-4 record in 2020, 8-12 in 2021 and 7-8 in 2022. Tarik joined the starting rotation in July and took a while to find his legs. And BOY has he found not only his legs, but his arm and the strike zone. Skubal has been PERFECT in September, with a 4-0 record, while allowing only 3 earned runs over 26 innings for a SKINNY 1.04 ERA. Need more? How about 35 Ks over that 26 inning stretch. Yea, THIRTY FIVE Ks! Gimme Motown for the money.
