NFL Week 9 Betting Preview

Week 9 of the NFL season kicks off Thursday night with the Pittsburgh Steelers hosting the Tennessee Titans.

Chiefs favorites over the Dolphins in Germany

On Sunday the action begins early when the Kansas City Chiefs face the Miami Dolphins in Germany. The Chiefs are 2.5-point favorites. Kansas City is 6-2 SU and 5-3 ATS after last week’s 24-9 loss to the Denver Broncos as 7-point favorites. In their last eight road games the Chiefs are 7-1 SU and 4-4 ATS.

Miami is 6-2 SU and ATS following last week’s 31-17 win over the New England Patriots as 7.5-point favorites. As an underdog the Dolphins are 1-8 SU and 4-5 ATS in their last nine.

In this matchup the Chiefs have won three straight with a 2-1 ATS record.

Eagles small chalk in matchup with Cowboys

In the NFC East on Sunday division rivals square off when the Philadelphia Eagles host the Dallas Cowboys as 3-point favorites.

Philadelphia is 7-1 SU and 4-2-2 ATS after last week’s 38-31 win over the Washington Commanders as 7-point favorites. At home the Eagles are 6-1 SU and 3-3-1 ATS in their last seven.

Dallas is 5-2 SU and ATS and is coming off a 43-20 rout of the Los Angeles Rams as 7-point favorites. The Cowboys have lost three straight both SU and ATS as a road underdog, and they’re 4-6 SU and 5-5 ATS in their last 10.

Last season the Eagles and Cowboys split the season series 1-1 SU and ATS with the home team winning each game. In the last five games in this matchup the Cowboys are 4-1 SU and ATS.

Sunday night matchup features Bengals, Bills

And on Sunday night bettors get a playoff rematch when the Cincinnati Bengals host the Buffalo Bills as 2.5-point favorites.

Cincinnati is 4-3 SU and 3-3-1 ATS and last week upset the San Francisco 49ers 31-17 as 4.5-point underdogs. The Bengals have won three straight both SU and ATS, and at home they’re 9-1 SU and 6-3-1 ATS in their last 10.

Buffalo is 5-3 SU and 3-5 ATS after last week’s 24-18 win over the Tampa Buccaneers as 10-point favorites. The Bills have lost four straight ATS. They’re 6-3 ATS in their last nine games as an underdog and went OVER the posted total in all nine games.

Last season in the playoffs Cincinnati defeated Buffalo 27-10 as 5.5-point underdogs. In their last seven games against the Bills the Bengals are 5-2 SU and ATS.
