Las Vegas - Gotta tell a little story about the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. If you're wondering where Whitewater is, it's halfway between Milwaukee and Madison. Lance Leipold coached at the Division III school from 2007 to 2014. His record was 109-6. Yea, hold your ears 'cause I'm gonna scream. ONE HUNDRED NINE & SIX! His Warhawks won SIX Division III National Championships. So, it's fair to say he CAN coach 'em up. This is Leipold's third year in Lawrence, and to say the cupboard was bare when he first arrived would not be a fair statement. There WAS NO cupboard. Les Miles was booted after posting an UGLY 0-9 record in 2020. Lance and the Jayhawks limped to a 2-10 record in 2021 and improved to 6-7 in 2022 with their first bowl bid in 14 years. This season, Kansas has climbed to 7-2, with a bowl bid already in pocket. The Jayhawks have been VERY rude hosts, winning all five games at home, and averaging almost 42 points per game. Texas Tech has been just mediocre this season with a 4-4 record and has only one win in four road games. Gonna Rock the Chalk this afternoon and ask you to buy the hook, dropping the line back to -3.
And how about a sweet little 10-point three team teaser. Start with Alabama and drop the Crimson Tide from -11 to -1 point against Kentucky. Then go get Georgia Tech and take the Yellow Jackets from +15 to +25 points against Clemson. Close with Ole Miss and bump the Rebels up from +11 to +21 points against Georgia.

For your wagering pleasure, here are your spread stats of the day. GINORMOUS game down in Florida as Miami travels to Tallahassee to fight the Seminoles. Sadly, the Hurricanes have been a drain on the bank account, covering only one of the last five. And if you go back to last season when Mario Cristobal took over the Xs & Os, the 'Canes have covered just five of 19. OUCH!
