line moves cotton
----------------------------------------------------
Las Vegas - Looks like the wise guys are having a blast bouncing the Cotton Bowl line from Ohio State -6.5 at the open, to Missouri -2.5 last week, and now back to O-State -3 or -4. If you're backing Mizzou, and we are, and if you're in Vegas, and we are, you can find a +4 at the Circa sportsbook, Golden Nugget and Westgate. Just dug a little deeper, and you can also find +4.5 at Draft Kings, Wynn and the Mirage. Why the crazy line moves? The initial move to Missouri happened when the Buckeyes starting QB, Kyle McCord, announced that he was leaving for Syracuse. McCord had a superb season, hitting on 229 of 348 (65.8%) for 3,170 yards with 24 TDs and 6 INTs. McCord's backup, Devin Brown, has attempted ONLY 22 passes, completed 12 (54.5%) for 197 yards with 2 TDs and 1 INT. That's a TWENTY TWO TD differential between QBs and that IS an ISSUE. On the other side of the field, Mizzou QB Brady Cook had his best year, completing 233 of 351 (66.4%) for 3,189 yards with 20 TDs and 6 INTs. The Tigers also have an RB, Cody Schrader, who gobbled up 1,499 yards. As we sit at the keyboard, Marvin Harrison Jr. has not committed to playing, while it appears that RB TreVeyon Henderson will suit up. If Marvin Jr. does not play, the line will drop again. Even if he plays, we still like this Mizzou team that had only two losses. A 30-21 setback at Georgia and a 49-39 L against LSU. The Tigers from Columbia have been fattening up the wallet for quite a while under head coach Eli Drinkwitz, covering 14 of the last 21. Gonna grab Mizzou at +5 or +5.5 if it's still available, and take that all the way to the bank BAABBBEEE!
