Las Vegas - Best home record in MLB by percentage? Dodgers? Nope. Yankees? Nope. Braves? Nope. Phillies? Nope. Orioles? Nope. How about Cleveland. Yea, the Guardians are sitting at 18-6 inside Progressive Field, and at 75%, it IS the BEST in baseball. And they've done it with some horrible injuries. All-Star pitcher Shane Bieber is done for the season. OF Steven Kwan was leading MLB in batting average (.353) when he went down with a hamstring injury on May 4. Carlos Carrasco has not pitched since the middle of May. Yet Cleveland is still rocking. On the offensive side, Jose Ramirez is having a career year, leading MLB in RBI with 56. Another reason is Ben Lively who stepped into the starting rotation in place of Bieber. Lively managed only one win in his first five starts, but since May 14 he has picked up three straight Ws and is pitching to a 2.80 ERA. It's gonna be Lively tonight in Cleveland and my wallet is wide open.
