Las Vegas - Looks like the Dodgers are gonna go with a bullpen game, and only Dave Roberts and his staff know the order. Too many questions, so it's another pass and on to the NFL.
First up is the Titans vs. Bills. Looking toward the Buffs because of a new tool for QB Josh Allen. The Bills traded for/rescued WR Amari Cooper from Cleveland. Even with a lackluster Deshaun Watson at QB, Cooper has more receptions this season (24) than anyone on Buffalo. And in his glorious 10 year career, Coop has gone OVER seventy catches seven times and has raced past 1,000 receiving yards seven times as well. If you see Josh Allen smiling like the Joker, now you know why. And coming back home to Highmark Stadium after a road game, the Bills are on a 4-0 run and have outscored the opposition 136-58. That's an average of 19.5 points per game and since the spread is only -8.5, this looks like another easy breezy win for those guys that circle the wagons.
On to Cleveland for the Browns vs. the Bengals. Cincy's 2-4 record is kinda ugly but you need to know that they're actually playing better on the road than they are home. Actually a PERFECT 3-0 on the road where it matters, against the spread. Joe Burrow had an off night against the Giants, completing just 19 of 28 for 208 yards, with no TDs and no INTs. But the week before, he KILLED it against the Ravens, hitting 30 of 39 for 392 yards with 5 TDs. He has both of his weapons, Ja'Marr Chase and Tee Higgins ready to go. On a lousy night in New York, the two of 'em combined for 12 grabs and 149 yards. Yea Cincy's defense has holes, but in this spot, gimme Burrow to come up with another big game as the visiting Cats stay perfect on the road against the spread.
