Las Vegas - First Four first game is a pass because we have not been locked in on Alabama State or St. Francis-PA this season. But the second game, North Carolina vs. San Diego State is totally on my radar. So, the big thing is that the Tar Heels DID NOT deserve to make the Big Dance. If you're a conspiracy theorist, and are thinking that Carolina made it in because their athletic director, Bubba Cunningham is the NCAA committee chair, well, okay, we feel you. Put that aside and look at the recent body of work for each team. The Heels come on a sweet 8-2 run with the only two losses coming against Duke. Yes, the NUMBER ONE team in the country. The Aztecs have been up and down, winning six and losing four, but where it counts, in the wallet, they have covered ONLY one of the last nine. OUCH! And with all the talking heads trashing UNC you know that coach Hubert Davis will have some exceptional bulletin board material. Like the Tar Heels up to -4 but if it goes higher, we would probably throw our chips at the money line.
