Las Vegas - Hate to keep piling on, but gotta go against the White Sox tonight. Chicago has lost 18 in a row and sends Garrett Crochet to the hill. Crochet's name was thrown around at the trade deadline, but there was no movement. Crochet was not very sharp leading up to the deadline, allowing 10 hits and 5 earned runs over the last 7 innings. Some are speculating about his workload, since he is at 114.1 innings and threw only 12.2 last season. And he didn't even throw a pitch in 2022. Did anyone say arm fatigue? None of that applies to Minnesota's Bailey Ober who has won five of his last six, and allowed just 10 earned runs over the last 48 innings for a sweet 1.88 ERA. Bank of Benj is wide open for the the Twins.
