Las Vegas - Always looking for a pitcher that is on a heater and Minnesota's Bradley Ober fits the bill. Ober has not lost a game since June 4, and his last three starts have been fire. How hot? We're talking about 21 innings, 4 earned runs (1.71 ERA) and 27 Ks. The Twins had a bit of an ugly in early June, losing five in a row, but they've bounced back strong, winning seven of the last nine and 13 of the last 18. It's just the opposite for Detroit. The Tigers started the season strong with an 18-13 record, but they've managed only four wins in the last 15 games. And Kenta Maeda has NOT been on a heater since he came back from Tommy John surgery. Maeda was 6-8 with a 4.23 ERA in 2023 with the Twins, and is sitting at 2-4 with a 5.76 ERA so far this season for the Tigers. He has not won a game since May 24 and that's why we're expecting to make another deposit in the Bank of Benj.

Happy 4th to the entire Ecks & Bacon nation. Stay safe. Stay hydrated. And for those of us on the West coast/Vegas, PLZ stay COOL!
