Las Vegas - You know that an octopus has eight legs but for those that are new to my world of sports betting, an 'Octopus' is also a delicious prop wager. What is it? An 'Octopus' is when the same player scores a touchdown and completes a two-point conversion on the same drive for a total of eight points. It is RARE and has only happened ONCE in Super Bowl history. And guess what? It was Eagles QB Jalen Hurts in Super Bowl 57. Against guess who? Yup, Kaycee. Hurts scored a two-yard rushing touchdown and followed it up by running in the two-point conversion. Obviously, it's a real LONG SHOT, but the payoff is YUGE, with Yes at +$1300 to +$1400 depending on where you shop. And the best part is, it doesn't matter which team hits the 'Octopus.' It could be Hurts again, or Mahomes, or Saquon, or Kelce, or A.J. Brown. Not suggesting you empty the wallet, but maybe slip an Andrew Jackson on to the table.
