Las Vegas - Can not tell you with a straight face that we have a solid feeling for either NFL game today. The COVID-19/injury lists are EXTENSIVE for all four teams, and not gonna ask you to open the wallet. And if your head is spinning because the Browns/Raiders game keeps changing favorites, so is mine. Vegas is now -3 with the Baker officially out, and we're still gonna take a pass on both games.

However, on the college football board, we're gonna take a look at the Myrtle Beach Bowl in Conway, South Carolina. Tulsa, from the American Athletic Conference, takes on Old Dominion from Conference USA. Tulsa is now -8, point favorite, but we were fortunate to buy Dominion when the line was at +9. And you know what underdogs have been doing in the bowls so far, right? If you're not following the early games, the dogs are BARKING, LOUD, covering seven of the first nine bowls. Not saying that every dog will have its day, but the Monarchs from Norfolk, Virginia have been on some kind of roll. The light came on for ODU after losing to Western Kentucky back in October, 43-20. After that, Dominion ripped off FIVE straight wins, and, covers. Then we looked at Tulsa QB Davis Brin, and the numbers told us that he threw as many interceptions (16) as he did touchdowns (16). The Monarchs started to fly when Hayden Wolff took over at QB, hitting on 62% of his passes. Not exactly jumping in with both hands, but thinking that at plus nine, ODU is worth a nibble.
