Las Vegas - Of course you need some hoop before stepping on to the red carpet in Hollywood tonight, which is why we're looking at the SEC title tilt, and gonna grab Texas A&M over Alabama. Buzz Williams can coach 'em up. He has done it at Marquette (139-69), Virginia Tech (100-69) and now at A&M (74-45). He wins everywhere he goes, and his Aggies are as hot as any team in the country. They've won and covered nine of their last 10 including a sweet 67-61 W over Alabama at College Station just last week. Obviously, 'Bama is gonna be a tough out, and could squeeze out a win, but the Crimson Tide have covered only three of the last eight. Gotta Buzz A&M plus the points.
And the Oscar goes to? Of course, everyone is looking to win their Academy Awards pool, and as always, we have the winners for the top six categories. Best Picture is a no brainer and an easy win for 'Everything Everywhere All at Once.' Best Actor is a toss up between Austin Butler and Brendan Fraser. We're on the Butler. Best Actress is also a tight race between Michelle Yeoh and Cate Blanchett. Got Yeoh for the money. Best Supporting Actor is a runaway for Ke Huy Quan. Just put the statue on his chair. Best Supporting Actress is a dogfight between Angela Bassett and Jamie Lee Curtis. Late money surge for Jamie Lee and we always follow the money. The last of the big six, Best Director, will be a blowout win for the Daniels, Kwan and Scheinert, for 'Everything Everywhere.'
