Las Vegas - This is not about handicapping or predicting the winner of the Chiefs/Browns game, but thought that you would like to know that the two QBs, Patrick Mahomes and Baker Mayfield, have met before. C'mon into the way- back machine, October 24, 2016, for an OTHER-WORLDY Big 12 matchup between Texas Tech and Oklahoma.

Lemme say right up front that there were some POINTS put on the board, some CRAZY CROOKED numbers. The Sooners wound up on top, 66-59. Yea, SIXTY SIX to FIFTY NINE! The posted O/U total was 85, and naturally, I had the OVER!

Back to the QBs. Mahomes set an NCAA record for total offense in a game with 819 yards, including 734 through the air and 85 on the ground. He completed 52 of 88 passes. That IS NOT a misprint! EIGHTY EIGHT PASSES! Don't know that I have seen anything like that before or since. The Baker was slinging as well, hitting on 27 of 36 for 545 yards and SEVEN TDs! Once again, that IS NOT a misprint! Don't think we're gonna see Patrick throw 88 balls, or gobble up 819 yards, but if you have a few minutes, check out YouTube and watch some of the highlights from the game. Quick look across the pond in the English Premier League, and not gonna lay $600 to win back $100 on Manchester City against Brighton & Hove, but will look at a prop wager. City likes to score goals and in the last six meetings against Brighton, they've outscored the Seagulls, 20-2. Gimme OVER 2.5 goals at around -$200 for the money!
