ping pong
Las Vegas - Maybe I was a little too quick to dismiss ping pong. Talked to my friend Johnny Avello, the Director of Race & Sportsbook operations for Draft Kings, and he told me table tennis is going crazy, specifically Russian Table Tennis. "The customers are LOVING this. They can bet on pre-game, in-game, and point by point." Avello said, "the biggest moneymaker for the company over the last two weeks has easily been table tennis. Since you can put money on each point, DraftKings has received a high volume of wagers from consumers who would normally focus their attention on the ATP and WTA tours." Heard that someone hit a huge five-leg parlay, betting $800 on four table tennis matches and one Russia Liga Pro Short Hockey game at 25/1 and collected a few pennies over TWENTY THOUSAND BUCKS! To the guy who hit this five-leg parlay, PLZ CALL ME NOW!!!
Johnny also has some delicious prop wagers cooking for the upcoming NFL draft, including picking the trifecta, the exact order of the first three players taken. If you think it's gonna be Joe Burrow, Chase Young, Tua Tagovailoa, the odds are 2/1. If you think it's gonna be Joe Burrow, Tua Tagovailoa, Chase Young, the odds are 9/2. Will have a bunch more props for the draft as we approach the April 23 start date.
If you're a budding meteorologist, call me, because we have some weather props for tomorrow. How about Over/Under 63 degrees in Los Angeles. Got an Over/Under of 50 degrees at the Ronald Reagan National Airport just outside Washington, DC. Looking up North, the Over/Under in Ottawa, Canada is 4 degrees, on the Celsius scale, which is around 39 degrees Fahrenheit. And looking down South, the Over/Under in Cancun, Mexico is 29 degrees Celsius, or a tickle over 84 degrees Fahrenheit. If you wanna take a crack, we would recommend the OVER in Washington, DC. Why? Congress is back and there's bound to be a whole lotta HOT AIR!!!
