Las Vegas - Not interested in betting on the ESPYS tonight, but did see a survey that EVERYONE is talking about from the folks at Lawn Love. Not sure why they do certain types of surveys, but just got an email about one that ranked the 'Best States for Pioneer Women.' Didn't know they still had 'Pioneer Women' but apparently, it's a THING! And if you wanna guess what state is best for Pioneer Women, go ahead. I'll wait...Okay, you give up. Here ya go. The top five states for these pioneer ladies are, Texas, Oklahoma, Iowa, Montana and Wyoming. If you are thinking about becoming a Pioneer Women, do NOT, repeat, DO NOT try Pennsylvania, Indiana, New Jersey, Nevada or Rhode Island.

Of course, if you wanna live like a Pioneer Women, there are six keys to success.

1. Start an urban garden.

2. Compost your yard waste and food scraps.

3. Raise chickens in your backyard.

4. Cook from scratch.

5. Buy produce from farmers markets.

6. Learn wilderness survival skills.

Now you understand what happens to a mind when it's 108, yes, ONE HUNDRED AND EIGHT DEGREES here in Vegas, and NO games to bet on!!!
