poker on the line

Las Vegas - Not rocking anything on the MLB board tonight, but do have a bit of advice if you're sitting in your pajamas and trying to win a few bucks in an online poker room.

So, what actually is the strategy of playing online where you can't see a face, any body movement or a tell? Some of the experts we talked to told us that 'Table Count' is a primo way to assess who you are fighting online. Most online poker rooms have a 'search a player' feature. If they are only playing on one or two tables, there's a good chance they're average Joes. And no offense to average Joes because I'm an average Ben. If they are playing 10 tables, though, chances are they're most likely pros. And if they block you from searching them, pick up your chips and MOVE to another table.

There are a few other ways to gauge your table which are a little more involved. Like posting a blind out of position, various chat box tells and passive play. We'll jump into a more detailed discussion of these down the road.
