Las Vegas - Mookie Betts, GONE! Chris Sale, GONE! David Price, GONE! Rick Porcello, GONE! And projected opening day starter, Eduardo Rodriguez, is out with the Covid 19.

Boston still has some pretty fabulous pieces on the offensive side, with J.D. Martinez, Xander Bogaerts, Rafael Devers, and Andrew Benintendi, but the arms are gonna be an issue. Take away 26 wins that came from Sale, Price and Porcello. Now they're banking on Nathan Eovaldi who was limited to just 67 2/3 innings last season after elbow surgery. Martin Perez, another piece of the rotation, finished the 2019 season with a 5.12 ERA, and his overall record after eight years in the American League is 53-56. AIN'T gonna scare anyone. It looks like Ryan Weber, Darwinzon Hernandez and Brian Johnson will make up the back half of the rotation. Just to give you an idea how weak the rotation looks, Weber has been working on the MLB scene for five years, and carries a 3-9 record with a PHAT 5.04 ERA. Hernandez is a 23 year old baby and has started only one game in his career, while Johnson lugs an ugly 7-9 record into the mix with a 4.74 ERA. YUCH!

And the schedule, OH BOY. The Red Sox will play 29 of the 60 games against the Yankees, Rays, Nationals and Braves, all playoff teams last season. They also get eight games against the Phillies and Mets. More bad news. The Sox will have to play seven of their 10 games against the Yankees at Yankee Stadium and six of their 10 against the Rays in St. Petersburg. Ouch! The only good news is they play the Blue Jays, Orioles and Marlins. Can NOT see how they're gonna get to 32 wins. So, we're going UNDER 31.5 wins for the cash BAABBEEE!!!
