Las Vegas - St. Louis is not playing up to its normal standards and is sitting at the bottom of the National League East with a 27-39 record (not including last night). The only recent bright spot for the Cardinals has been Jack Flaherty. If you look at his record, 3-4, you're probably wondering if the Vegas heat has warped some of my brain cells. But stay with me. The last three times out, Flaherty has thrown a total of 18 innings, allowed 2 earned runs for a very skinny 1.00 ERA. If St. Loo lost to the Giants last night, add a little extra juice to the bet.
