Denver Defeats New Orleans 144-119 - Recap
The battle between the Nuggets and Pelicans didn't turn out to be much of a battle at all as New Orleans was handed a 144-119 defeat on Wednesday at Ball Arena.

Michael Porter Jr. had 39 points for Denver and Nikola Jokic chipped in with 38 points. Aaron Gordon had 12 assists for the Nuggets, while Michael Porter Jr. was the team's top rebounder, grabbing 12 boards.
New Orleans got 28 points from Zion Williamson in a losing cause and another 25 points from Trey Murphy III. Trey Murphy III contributed 9 assists for the Pelicans, while Karlo Matkovic had 9 rebounds.
Denver won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 51-38.
Denver looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against the Magic. The Pelicans will aim to get back on the winning track at Sacramento.
