Phoenix Falls 120-117 to Timberwolves - Recap

The Timberwolves got a 35-point performance from Julius Randle as Minnesota handed Phoenix a 120-117 defeat on Sunday at Target Center.

Minnesota did not, however, defeat the Suns against the spread, which closed at -7.5 at most sportsbooks. Totals bettors, meanwhile, saw the game go OVER the closing number of 218.5.

Anthony Edwards had 24 points for Minnesota and Donte DiVincenzo chipped in with 15 points. Julius Randle had 7 assists for the Timberwolves, while Rudy Gobert was the team's top rebounder, grabbing 10 boards.

Phoenix got 44 points from Devin Booker in a losing cause and another 18 points from Grayson Allen. Tyus Jones contributed 11 assists for the Suns, while Mason Plumlee had 8 rebounds.

The Timberwolves hit the break losing 64-54 before taking care of business in the second half.

Phoenix had a 41-32 advantage in the rebounding department as they won the battle in the paint.

Minnesota heads into a battle against the Raptors. Phoenix, meanwhile, will have their next action against Orlando.
