The battle between Samford and Virginia's-Wise didnt turn out to be much of a battle at all as Virginia's-Wise was handed a 102-64 defeat on Wednesday at Pete Hanna Center.
Samford got 28 points from Brandon Austin and another 20 points from Robert Allen. Donte Tatum contributed 6 assists, while Logan Padgett cleaned the glass with 8 rebounds.
Virginia's-Wise got a 12-point performance from Chance Sheffey, who was supported by 12 points from Cameron Whiteside. Kaeleb Carter had 5 assists in a losing cause for Virginia's-Wise, while Chance Sheffey grabbed 6 rebounds.
Samford was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.
